Friday 10/28: Nightmare on Stanhope Street: Devils & Angels at the Brahmin American Cuisine & Cocktails and Zocalo
Get spooky for a cause. “Angels and Devils” is one big party hop between the Brahmin and Zocalo, thanks to the team-up of owners Russ deMariano, Ed Brooks, and the Ramos brothers, respectively. Dig your hands into bowls of trick-or-treating candy, down ghostly concoctions (this time around, your voodoo punch will actually have a punch of booze), and scream-worthy snacks. Saturday 10/29: Halloween Party at McGreevy’s
McGreevy’s doesn’t mess around when it comes to Halloween — they’re a bar-turned-haunted-house for all of October. The popular Boylston Street spot has partnered with 98.5 the Sports Hub to throw a full-out spooky bash with a costume contest to top the charts — go dressed in your most creative, decked-out costume for a chance to win 500 big ones. Sunday 10/30: Howl-oween ‘Movie’ Premiere at the Seaport World Trade Center at the Headhouse Concourse
Get in the Halloween spirit (even coordinate costumes with your canine) and watch SEAdog Entertainment present “Seaport’s Pet Friendly Getaway,” the hotel’s new pet-friendly video. Attention to detail for pet costumes will not be overlooked — a doggy costume contest with pooch prizes for the winner will be in the mix, not to mention any furry friend sporting a costume leaves with a doggy bag of executive chef Richard Rayment’s renowned sweet potato dog treats. Monday 10/31: Halloween in Hell at Dante Restaurant in Cambridge
On Halloween night, Dante Restaurant will transform into “Dante’s Inferno,” heating up the kitchen with festive dishes and treats. Enjoy tasty punch and “easy sfizis” at the bar with Dante’s staff and costumed party-goers alike. When darkness falls, dance off the candy calories to DJ Adilson’s beats. Monday 10/31: Venetian Masquerade Ball at No. 9 Park in Boston
Dine in disguise at No. 9 Park’s first Venetian Masquerade Ball. Treat yourself to an assortment of Venetian-type menu items, including lamb and pumpkin arancini and whipped baccalà crostini, and pair them with complimenting cocktails and Italian wines. Dress according to the theme of Venetian masks and black tie — and remain anonymous when you order that second dessert — or stand out in your very own festive attire. Tuesday 11/1: Día de los Muertos Fiesta at Lolita Cocina & Tequila Bar in Boston
It’s time to honor the dead, Mexican-style. Celebrate El Día de los Muertos, or the “Day of the Dead,” at Lolita Cocina. The evening will begin with a VIP cocktail gathering in the Tequila Lounge, which includes signature Avion tequila cocktails and chef Brian Roche’s scrumptious appetizers, as well as a live DJ to keep the evening loco.
