It’s that time again: Bostonchefs.com brings its annual Flavors of Fall to the table. Enjoy sweet and savory dishes created from the freshest seasonal and local ingredients by a dozen chefs, including Michael Scelfo, of Russell House. Guests will be immersed in the unique blend of jazz of the Rollo Tomasi Quartet as they sip a new cocktail created by Noir, wines provided by the purveyors of fine wines Dreyfus, Ashby & Company, an assortment of beers from Brooklyn Brewery, and coffee from local roaster J.P. Licks. All proceeds go to Tutoring Plus. ($65 per person; 5:30-8:30 p.m.; Regattabar in the Charles Hotel, 1 Bennett St., Cambridge. Info: 866-582-7956, charleshotel4-px.trvlclick.com.)

Saturdays & Sundays: New Brunch at Miel

Rise and shine, people — Miel is back at it with a new á la carte brunch menu (now offered on Saturdays!) that is sure to make getting out of bed on the weekends a little bit easier. The highlight of the morning beverage front is the Sangria á la Clementine, marrying classic mimosa flavors: red wine, orange liqueur, fresh clementines, fresh lime, and a splash of soda. We love the intercontinental menu, but are looking forward to trying out the salmon rilletes with red skin potatoes, cucumber, crispy egg, served with olive oil baguette. All this means that, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Miel is the new brunch hot spot. (Miel, 510 Atlantic Ave., Boston. Reservations and info: 866-490-5503, miel.intercontinentalboston.com.)

Ongoing: Beer Dinner Series at Jerry Remy’s

Once a month from now through March, Jerry Remy’s will be hosting a new Beer Dinner Series. Together with a variety of local breweries, Chef Jackie Kelly and General Manager Don Bailey will put together evenings of craft beer and seasonal menu choices. Dinners will feature a five-course meal, each complemented by a special beer. The first in the series will be held on November 15th with Wachusett Brewery, which will offer their famous Blueberry Ale, Imperial IPA, and Black Shack Porter to accompany your plateful of Scottish salmon, braised pork belly and grilled radicchio salad. (6:30 pm; $48; Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar & Grill, 1264 Boylston St, Boston; Dates: Nov. 15, Dec. 14, Jan. 18, and Feb. 15, with four local breweries.
