Second Bite: Blue Dragon in Fort Point

Chef Ming Tsai’s first restaurant since opening Blue Ginger in Wellesley more than 15 years ago is part Boston pub, part trendy Asian eatery. The pub half of the equation is only fitting—the restaurant, after all, is housed in the former A Street Diner space in Fort Point. As such, the spot pairs a lively atmosphere (read: scorpion-style “dragon” bowls for two) with an anything-goes, Chinese-and-Southeast-Asian-influenced menu of dishes like curried-lamb shepherd’s pie ($9); pad thai with scallops and bacon ($12); and buttermilk-fried “tempura” whole chicken ($25).
