Wink & Nod made waves this morning when they announced that they’ll be joining forces with pop-up restaurant standouts Whisk. The South End speakeasy, which will open on March 15, has been notoriously tight-lipped regarding its food program, but Boston Nightlife Ventures [the restaurant management group also behind Forum] released a statement today lauding the collaboration: “With this venture, Chefs Philip Kruta and Jeremy Kean [of Whisk] are reimagining standard drinking fare with an inventive à la carte menu of New American plates and bar snacks featuring the team’s signature vivid flavors and unexpected touches.”

Wink & Nod will focus on classic cocktails with seasonal ingredients and house-made syrups and infusions. The highly anticipated new cocktail spot has provided a small glimpse into their whimsical menu, with a section dedicated to “Sirens of the big (and small) screen.” Big points for cocktails dedicated to ’80s sex symbols like Vera Prescott, [Michael J. Fox’s costar in The Secret of My Succe$s] and Kim Cattrall [Mannequin]. Yes, I’m aware that Kim Cattrall was also in Sex in the City, but that show didn’t have Andrew McCarthy or this sweet jam from Starship.

Preview of the “Sirens of the big (and small) screen” cocktail menu:

Vera Prescott: Cutty Sark Prohibition Edition Scotch, pear purée, cranberry juice, simple syrup, house-made ginger ale

Kim Cattrall:  Montelobos mescal, Cocchi Americano, grapefruit cordial, lime juice, and soda

Jennifer: Vodka, apricot liqueur, lime juice, honey & hibiscus syrup
