Spike’s Frankenfood Truck Coming to Boston

If you crave donkey sauce and the dulcet tones of Guy Fieri, just wait until you check out Josh Capon and Tony Luke Jr., hosts of Spike TV’s upcoming culinary competition Frankenfood. Luke, of Tony Luke’s Cheesesteaks in Philadelphia and Capon, of El Toro Blanco in New York, are traveling around the country to scoop up contestants with a penchant for playing with their food. Does Spam sushi, spaghetti hamburgers, and fried Slim-Jim mac and cheese balls got you salivating? Well, you’re in luck. This week, Spike’s Frankenfood truck will be cruising the streets of Boston, dishing out a preview of some of the fare featured on the show. See below for locations, times, and a full menu chosen specifically for lucky Bostonians.


Fruity Pebbles chicken tenders with tamarind orange sauce

Guinness chocolate covered pork belly with cayenne and paprika dusted marshmallows

Fried Slim-Jim mac and cheese balls with Frank’s Red Hot

Spam “sushi” with a rice crispy treat and plantain purée
