For one month only, sugar lovers can finally indulge in that mythical mashup known as the doughnut ice cream sandwich. As part of the Mom and Pop-Up series in The Fenway, dubbed The Done Zone, Cambridge’s Toscanini’s Ice Cream and Union Square Donuts will combine their two specialties in various divine desserts. Starting on September 20, and setting up shop every subsequent Saturday until October 18 at 8 p.m., Union Square will serve sandwiches, doughnuts, and ice creams.

The Mom and Pop-Up series, tucked into 1377 Boylston St. (next to Sweet Cheeks Q), will feature a rotating lineup of food and retail experiences. Tenants will include ticketed tastings, boutique retail, classes, head-to-head battles, and more.

Other Highlights Include:

  •        Higher Ground Farm – Monday, 9/22 starting at 3 p.m.
  •        Tiny Pies from Treats on Washington – Wednesday, 9/24, 3-9 p.m.
  •        Retail Pop-up with the Anchal Project — Thursday, 9/25 starting at 4 p.m.
