Anthem Kitchen + Bar, nestled in Faneuil Hall near the newly lit Blink display, will serve a selection of Thanksgiving specials in addition to their daily menus. Aura at the Seaport Hotel

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Aura will celebrate Thanksgiving with an elaborate buffet brunch. The spread will include breakfast items like eggs benedict, French toast, and a leek and truffle quiche. Chef Robert Tobin will also have a raw bar with clams, oysters, and shrimp. More traditional Thanksgiving offerings will also be on display like roast turkey with cranberry sauce, butternut squash ravioli with brown butter sauce, sweet potato casserole, roasted brussels sprouts, and buttermilk mashed potatoes.

Daniel Boulud’s critically acclaimed Boston outpost will be open for a haute Thanksgiving experience. The three prix-fixe courses, created by chef de cuisine Aaron Chambers, combines fresh, local ingredients with creative, seasonal twists. Think Ward’s Berry Farm squash soup; wild Pemaquid oysters with citrus mignonette; poached Gloucester lobster with hearts of palm; Niman Ranch short rib; heritage breed turkey; and decadent Grand Marnier soup with a vanilla-chocolate marble ice cream.

Beacon Hill Bistro

Chef Lucas Sousa has proved himself a worthy successor to Josh Lewin, who has since moved on to Wink & Nod in the South End. Beacon Hill Bistro’s first Thanksgiving with Sousa at the helm will include a multi-course holiday feast with options like smoked duck breast with haricots verts and a bacon vinaigrette; pork paté with gooseberry jam; oyster stew; free range turkey breast with confit leg stuffing; pumpkin gnocchi; and red wine braised beef cheeks. Beat Hotel 

Join The Beat for a special holiday menu featuring traditional Thanksgiving foods and live country, Americana, and bluegrass music all day long. Enjoy chef Ignacio Lopez’s one-of-a-kind, à la carte menu that puts a new spin on the traditional Thanksgiving feast. Try Lopez’s black bean pumpkin soup with ham as well as vegetarian options such as a mushroom and leek stuffing, parsnip mashed potatoes, fresh cranberry sauce, and more. There is also a special menu for the “Little Pilgrims” in attendance, ages 10 and under.

The Beehive

The Beehive is hosting its annual Thanksgiving Day dinner with a traditional prix fixe Thanksgiving prepared by chef Marc Orfaly. The menu will include two courses and a pastry basket. In addition to all the roast organic turkey, grass fed lamb, halibut, and bacon-wrapped scallops, Orfaly will offer a separate vegetarian-friendly menu. Enjoy dishes like eggplant parmesan, spinach stuffed pumpkins, and wild mushroom stuffing as musicians Panayota, Gabriela Martina, Raquel Quinones, and Bobby Keyes perform live.

Bistro du Midi

Indulge in a Provençal Thanksgiving with chef Robert Sisca’s three-course prix fixe tasting menu. The $68 special features an array of tempting dishes including: seared foie gras with brown butter and squash; goat cheese gnocchi with pumpkin and preserved lemon; pan roasted cod with broccoli rabe and a Pecorino Emulsion; and turkey ballotine stuffed with chestnuts and Romanesco. Up the ante and order additional foie gras and truffle supplements with each indulgent course.

BOKX 109

Newton’s BOKX 109 is dubbing their holiday menu, “Liquid Thanksgiving.” In addition to annual offerings like butter-poached 109 prime rib and organic turkey ballontine, the restaurant has a complementary new cocktail menu. Available only through Thanksgiving week, the libations will include the Wild Turkey Gobbler (Wild Turkey bourbon, grenadine, ginger ale), Potato on the Side (Karlsson’s potato vodka, prosciutto-wrapped olive), and the “Thanks a Latte” (Spiced pumpkin vodka, Godiva chocolate liqueur, fresh espresso, crème Chantilly float).

Boston Chops

Chef-owner Chris Coombs’ South End bistro will be serving a three-course dinner featuring classic Chops steak and raw bar selections alongside sophisticated Turkey Day fare. This year’s menu includes a sugar pumpkin bisque; roasted Misty Knolls turkey; a 14-ounce prime rib eye; and desserts like Coombs’ pumpkin pots de creme. Sides will be served family-style, so make sure your end of the table gets first dibs on the herbed brioche stuffing and roasted sweet potato purée with maple.

Chopps American Bar & Grill

Chopps is serving up a luxurious five-course prix fixe menu featuring chef David Verdo’s modern interpretations on classic Thanksgiving fare. For $49 guests can choose from a tempting array of dishes like butternut squash soup with pancetta, sage, and crème fraîche; turkey with cornbread stuffing, potato purée, and cranberry chutney; and sweets like a pumpkin brulée.

City Table

City Table, located in the historic and stately Lenox Hotel, is serving its daily menus paired with a number of Thanksgiving specials. Guests are invited to enjoy chef Sean MacAlpine’s holiday selections like sugar pumpkin soup with roasted chestnuts and pepitas; a classic turkey dinner with mashed potatoes, and brioche and sausage stuffing; and a sliced beef tenderloin with roasted baby sweet potatoes, prosciutto, and lobster hollandaise.

Ken Oringer’s Clio will be open and a multi-course dinner for $89 per person. Start off with a stew with Cape Cod oysters and caviar or pumpkin soup with curry spices and pumpkin tempura. Then move along to the main event: turkey with sourdough sausage stuffing or duck fat poached halibut with black truffles, and forest mushrooms. Desserts will be prepared by award-winning pastry chef, Monica Glass.

Davio’s in Back Bay will prepare a special Thanksgiving Day menu prepared by executive chef Eric Swartz. Deuxave

At Deuxave, Christopher Coombs and his team will be preparing a decadent three-course Thanksgiving Day prix fixe menu featuring sophisticated takes on traditional dishes. The $99 per person menu includes dishes such as: spiced heirloom pumpkin soup; pavé of duck confit; Misty Knolls “Turducken” (turkey breast, duck rillettes, chicken boudin), slow roasted salmon; and pumpkin cheesecake with a chai tea glacé.

Eastern Standard 

Eastern Standard will be open on Thanksgiving day and will be offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $58 a person.  Some special offerings include squash soup with pecans and mulling spices, a roasted turkey plate with cornbread stuffing, cranberry sauce, and giblet gravy, and of course, an assortment of pies for dessert.

Fairsted Kitchen

Looking for a great Thanksgiving option in Brookline? Fairsted Kitchen in Washington Square is your answer. Chef Jason Albus is preparing an awesome family-style spread with roast turkey and sides like green bean casserole, glazed carrots, roast mushrooms, and macaroni and cheese. Packages include the “Tom” ($150) which yields a quarter turkey, accompaniments, two sides, and dessert; the “Hen” ($275) with half a turkey and four sides; or the “Gobbler ($400) with a whole turkey and six sides.

Grafton Street Pub & Grill

Indulge in Grafton Street’s annual $38 three-course prix fixe menu or go a la carte for a more customized experience. Highlights include duck confit with mascarpone polenta; prime rib with twice baked potatoes; a pumpkin budino; and cioppino with Jonah crab, PEI mussels, clams, and scallops.

Grill 23 & Bar

Get the best of both worlds at the newly redesigned Grill 23. In the mood for a 100-day-aged ribeye or New York sirloin? It’s yours. Or you can take part in Grill 23’s special four-course prix fixe with options like coffee-brined turkey breast, sweet potato chowder with chorizo, and pumpkin brûlée with honey glazed pecans.

Harvest

Misty Knolls Farm turkey, Loch Duarte Scottish salmon, Broken Arrow Ranch Axis Venison, Brandt Farm braised short ribs, and lobster pie with roasted parsnips and carrots. You won’t find a more locally sourced, authentically New England menu than Harvest’s upcoming Thanksgiving feast. Just reading chef Mary Dumont three-course menu will leave you salivating. And we haven’t even gotten to pastry chef Brian Mercury’s contributions which will include a Taza Chocolate crèmeux, pumpkin apple pie, and a pecan tart made with cream cheese, bourbon, and cocoa nibs.

Legal Crossing

Legal Crossing will celebrate its first Thanksgiving by dishing out a three-plus-course feast with entrees like a sage roasted turkey dinner with Anadama stuffed delicata squash; hoisin glazed salmon with pad Thai noodles and seared vegetables; and double-cut pork chops with sweet potato mascarpone mash. Also, look out for some seriously tasty desserts like Legal’s pumpkin creme brûlée, a pistachio cake, and profiteroles with Eagle Rare bourbon ice cream and Valrhona chocolate sauce.

Legal Harborside

Legal Seafoods’ Harborside location will serve a customizable prix fixe Thanksgiving meal on the second level overlooking Boston Harbor. In addition to a course of raw bar offerings, diners will get their pick of autumnal soups, salads, and desserts. The real draw though are the entrees: roasted Creekstone sirloin with bone marrow butter, Georges Bank sea scallops, and Misty Knoll Farms turkey with stuffing, cranberry relish, and roasted root vegetables.

L’Espalier

Enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with L’Espalier in Back Bay, featuring a menu largely sourced from chef Frank McClelland’s own Apple Street Farm. The prix fixe menu will include heritage breed turkey with French black truffles, Cavendish Vermont quail with venison pate, Spanish sea bass with Maine mussels, and McClelland’s Apple Street hams that are house-cured in the Virginia style.

Pantry at The Verve

The Crowne Plaza Natick will host a Thanksgiving brunch buffet featuring an assortment of “Green Market Farmer crudités” and a luxe selection of charcuterie and cheese. A towering raw bar will have a wide selection of Alaskan king crab legs, jumbo shrimp, and Blue Point oysters. A carving station will have garlic pork loin, maple brined turkey, and braised brisket. And for dessert, there will be pies galore and a “Dipped Apple Bar” station with caramel, sprinkles, chocolate, and all kinds of candy.

In addition to an abbreviated a la carte menu, chef Eric Brennan will be presenting roasted, all-natural Amish raised turkey at Post 390 this year. The main event comes paired with chili-lime roasted squash, mashed red Norland potatoes, apple-cornbread stuffing, anise-honey glazed root vegetables, and a vast selection of pies. Afterward, enjoy a nightcap alongside one of Post 390’s cozy, crackling fireplaces.

Restaurant Dante

Recent Top Chef judge, Dante de Magistris, is hosting a ‘Happy Free Range Thanksgiving’ menu for $69. Offering his signature Italian twist on an American tradition, Chef de Magistris’ three-course feast features selections that will satisfy carnivores and vegetarians alike. Dishes include: cauliflower ravioli with brown butter and sage; naturally raised, free-range turkey (Bob’s Turkey Farm, Lancaster, MA), with stuffing, potato puree, and all the fixings; and roast duck

Celebrate friends and family in the heart of Harvard Square with chef Tom Borgia’s special three-course menu at Russell House Tavern. First course has options like duck breast carpaccio, fried oyster toast, and butternut squash bisque. Mains include cider braised short ribs, grilled salmon with house-cured guanciale, and turkey basted in bacon fat. And for dessert, pecan pie with bourbon caramel ice cream and so much more.

Sky Restaurant 

Forget the hassle of cooking a turkey this Thanksgiving and visit Sky in Norwood. Executive chef Andy DiPace will be serving an extravagant buffet full of all the delicious Thanksgiving fixings including traditional carved roast turkey, cranberry cornbread stuffing, and fall harvest mac and cheese. Contemporary classics will include a roast black angus sirloin, grilled swordfish, and a full antipasto selection including sliced Italian cured hams and an entire cheese station full of domestic and imported varieties.

Stephanie’s on Newbury

For the first time in 20 years, chef-owner Stephanie Sokolove will open Stephanie’s on Newbury for a Thanksgiving Day dinner full of divine comfort foods. Try Sokolove’s a la carte specials such as stuffed shrimp with scallop and crab filling, a thick-cut, slow-roasted rib roast, potato pancakes with smoked Norwegian salmon, and roast turkey with all the fixings.

Strega Ristorante

Looking for something a little different this holiday? You’re in luck because Nick Varano will open the doors to his original Strega location in the North End on Thanksgiving. Take your pick from Strega staples such as Cozze alla Marinara (sautéed mussels in a spicy tomato sauce), Rollatini di Nico (rolled Sicilian eggplant with fresh ricotta, spinach and mozzarella), and Costara Ripiena (veal chop stuffed with prosciutto and fontina cheese in a white wine demi-glaze sauce).

Strega Prime in Woburn is pulling out all the stops. In addition to an abbreviated version of Chef Farouk Bazoune’s regular á la carte menu, Strega has crafted a special three-course prix-fixe menu boasting a selection of Italian soups and pastas to go along with heartier entrees like veal osso bucco, Salmone Alla Griglia (grilled salmon, shucked lobster, and butternut squash), and classic roast turkey with all the fixings.

Taj Boston

This Thanksgiving, Taj Boston invites guests to celebrate with two distinctive dining options. The Café at Taj Boston will features dishes from recently appointed executive chef Jesse Souza who showcases contemporary New England flair, as well as authentic Indian cuisine prepared by specialty chef Gurminder Gidda who came straight from the Taj Mahal in Mumbai. Taj Boston will also offer a brunch buffet on Thanksgiving day, featuring a tempting array of seasonal culinary creations: made-to-order breakfast selections, chilled seafood, artisan cheese, charcuterie, sushi, and a special holiday turkey complete with fixings.

Temple Bar Cambridge

Temple Bar is hosting a $39 three-course prix fixe menu with options like a foie gras terrine, grilled prawns with allspice roasted apples, and a bacon and spinach risotto. And what would a Thanksgiving feast be without turkey. Temple Bar is pairing theirs with truffled potatoes, fresh cranberry sauce, and an apple and sage stuffing.

Top of the Hub Restaurant & Lounge

Dine on the 52nd floor of The Prudential Tower this holiday with sweeping views of the city. In addition to all the great food, the restaurant’s Lounge will offer live jazz entertainment from The Brian McCree Group. Also, all guests will be invited to enjoy a complimentary Thanksgiving Day visit to the Skywalk Observatory on the 50th floor—New England’s tallest observatory and Boston’s only sky-high vantage point.

THANKSGIVING DINNER FOR TAKEOUT 

The Butcher Shop

Barbara Lynch’s The Butcher Shop is teaming up with Stephanie Cmar’s Party of Two to prepare a slew of great takeout options. Order ready-to-cook Misty Knoll Farms turkey (brine or un-brined), prime rib roast, or beef tenderloin roasts. Sides are available by the quart and include sausage stuffing, maple whipped sweet potatoes, caramelized brussels sprouts, and more. Party of two will prepare apple and pumpkin pies, an apple crisp, and pumpkin cheesecake. Orders for raw and prepared foods must be in by November 22. Dessert orders must be placed by November 20. All orders must be picked up by November 26 at 7 p.m.

Commonwealth

Chef Nookie Postal will be offering a to-go feast for four that includes a 12-pound turkey (roasted or raw), mashed potatoes, Parker House stuffing, glazed Sienna Farms rainbow carrots, brussels sprouts, cranberry sauce, and gravy. The entire meal is $169 and includes a choice of pies and a pint of Commonwealth’s delicious vanilla ice cream. Sides ($12 each) and pies ($20 each) can be purchased separately. Orders must be called in by November 20 for pickup on the 26th.

Formaggio Kitchen

Formaggio Kitchen is currently offering free range turkeys from Misty Knoll Farms along with a full Thanksgiving menu with cheese boards, soups, gravies, house-baked rolls, pies, and stuffing. Turkeys are available for pre-order until 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 13. Everything else on the takeout menu is available to order until 4 p.m. on November 23. Pickups will be available on November 25 at the location after 2 p.m. and November 26 between. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Lineage

Jeremy Sewall’s (Row 34, Island Creek Oyster Bar) Brookline restaurant, Lineage, will be offering Thanksgiving staples and sides for pickup for an at-home celebration on the morning of the holiday. The menu serves four and costs $148 ($38 for each additional guest). Menu includes: oak roasted free-range turkey, brussels sprouts, sautéed swiss chard, mashed Yukon Gold potatoes, house-baked bread, and a choice of 10-inch pie.

Sweet Cheeks Q

Entertaining a big party? Tiffani Faison has you covered. This Thanksgiving, Sweet Cheeks will be smoking heritage black turkeys from Koch Family Farms in Pennsylvania. The plump, 14-pound birds go for $120 and come with a side of gravy. The Fenway spot will also be offering sides like biscuit stuffing with fresh cranberries, candied yams, mashed potatoes, and their addictive broccoli cheese casserole, all available in hotel pans that serve 10 to 12 people. Orders must be placed by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19 to be picked up at Sweet Cheeks Q on November 26.

Union Square Donuts

Firmly entrenched in their new and improved Somerville bakery, Union Square Donuts will be whipping up all kinds of special order treats this Thanksgiving. Try their new bacon, cheddar, and sage-stuffed doughnut muffins, a family-size pumpkin bread pudding made with doughnuts and pumpkin custard, and their full arsenal of doughnut favorites. The shop will be open on Wednesday, November 26 from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. for special order pickups. All orders need to received by Sunday, November 23.
