In honor of Veteran’s Day tomorrow, chef Tony Maws is offering a free meal to all veterans at The Kirkland Tap & Trotter in Somerville. Chef Maws says he’s excited to provide a small token of his gratitude, so the whole menu is fair game. Choose from Kirkland signatures like fried pork ribs with ancho chile barbecue sauce, house-made farro spaghetti pasta with hen of the woods mushroom and chicken liver cream, or Maws’ famous grass-fed burger with kimchee Russian dressing.

To take advantage of the offer, guests must show their military ID card. The offer is only good on food and is only applicable to veterans, not their whole party.

5:30-10 p.m., 425 Washington St., Somerville; 857-259-6585 or kirklandtapandtrotter.com.
