On next week’s episode of Top Chef, the contestants are heading to the Plimoth Plantation, where they’ll be tasked with creating a Thanksgiving-style feast. Joining the judges will be descendants of the Wampanoag Native American Tribe as well as Puritan & Co.’s Will Gilson and his father David Gilson, descendants of the Mayflower.

In honor of the Gilsons’ appearance on the show, David is hosting his own Thanksgiving dinner at the family’s Herb Lyceum in Groton. Located on the Gilson Family Homestead, The Herb Lyceum is a renovated 19th carriage house surrounded by four acres of herbs, greenhouses, and flowering trees. David and his son will be preparing a special harvest dinner with local oysters, roast turkey, and maple-glazed fish.

The Herb Lyceum dinner party will begin at 7:30, followed by a viewing of the Top Chef  “Plimoth Plantation” episode. The cost is $65 per person and it is BYOB.

The menu includes:

  • Local oyster roast, leeks, wild sea beans, fried clams
  • Maple glazed local catch, wild mushrooms, sunchokes, corn meal
  • Roast turkey, chestnut and sweet potato hash
  • Acorn and cranberry cake, elderberry jam
