Bread & Salt at Wink & Nod Launches New Prix Fixe Service
Starting this week, chefs Joshua Lewin and Kate Holowchik of Bread & Salt, the current culinary collaboration at Wink & Nod in the South End, will introduce a new prix fixe service. The three-course prix menu will feature an ever-changing selection of Lewin’s signature globally inspired, locally sourced fare, such as a herb cured monkfish with potato fondant or his Macomber turnip soup with lobster and puffed rice.
The $37 prix fixe menu will be available from 5- 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Along with the two savory courses and dessert, diners will have the option of additional pasta and cheese course supplements. And for those seeking a more elaborate tasting experience, Lewin is also offering a rotating, seven-course tasting menu that includes some experimental plates not available on the regular menu, like his tomato cured foie gras torchon and house-baked saffron dinner rolls.
