Make a Day of It!

Don’t have time to schlep out to Maine or Vermont for your beer fix? Head to Chelsea and Everett, where you can hit up three great breweries in one afternoon.


Stop 1: Mystic Brewery

On Saturdays, this Belgian-inspired brewery offers free tours at 1 and 2 p.m. While there are pints aplenty to drink, it’s BYO food, so do bring some snacks along. (Pro tip: Katz Bagel Bakery is just a short drive away.)

Stop 2: Enlightenment Ales/Idle Hands Craft Ales

Stop 3: Night Shift Brewing

Night Shift offers all of its IPAs, barrel-aged brews, and sours in full and tasting-size pours, which makes it easy to plow through a bunch in one go. Free tours are available every day, and food trucks are occasionally stationed outside.
