Island Creek Oyster Bar Brings Back Seasonal Lunch Menu

Just in time for Red Sox season, the Kenmore Square restaurant brings back its midday selection of oysters, fried clams, and more.

Yes, Eastern Standard, The Lower Depths, and Sweet Cheeks are all fantastic options for a pre-game get-together that doesn’t involve Fenway Franks and cheap beer (that’s not even cheap). But one of the most underrated perks of summertime in the Fenway area is undoubtedly Island Creek Oyster Bar’s seasonal lunch menu offering crisp rose, fish tacos, and a loaded raw bar.

Starting on April 4, the Kenmore Square restaurant will bring back their Saturday-only lunch service with items like a biscuit breakfast sandwich layered with bacon, egg, and truffle honey; a baked potato stuffed with Maine crab and house-cured bacon; fried clams; and smoked trout pâté served alongside pickled veggies, horseradish creme fraiche, and a seaweed bagel.
