Dumpling Cafe’s Peter Wang and Chef Chen have opened a sister concept to their award-winning Chinatown spot this week. Located at the 179 Massachusetts Avenue, across from the Berklee College of Music, Dumpling Palace’s menu features a variety of soup dumplings, Taiwan-style pan-fried dumplings, oyster pancakes, scallion pancakes, and noodle dishes, including the chef’s immensely popular beef stew noodle soup with spinach.

Wang and Chen implemented a million-dollar renovation to turn the former Nan Ling Chinese take-out spot into a restaurant with upgrades like a state-of-the-art kitchen and a glassed-in dumpling station, which gives patrons a view into the dumpling-making process. The new Dumpling Palace seats 48 people and features Wang’s (he also opened Taiwan Cafe in 1998) most expansive menu to date.

Dumpling Palace is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.
