On Thursday, June 18, Alden & Harlow chef Michael Scelfo will host one of the most exciting pop-ups of the year as he welcomes in Long Island City’s award-winning Mu Ramen. Named the top ramen destination in 2014 by The Times‘ Pete Wells, when chef Joshua Smookler (formerly of Per Se) was still operating out of borrowed space in the back of a bagel shop, Mu Ramen is now ensconced in a stylish new brick and mortar where Smookler and his wife Heidy serve creative appetizers like chicken wings stuffed with foie gras, to go along with some of New York’s greatest ramen.

The menu during Smookler’s Boston visit will include highlights from the Mu Ramen menu, as well as a few Asian-inspired treats from Scelfo, including pickled corn takoyaki and a chicken heart yakitori. See below for the full menu.
