For our annual Best of Boston issue, Boston magazine contributors eat their way through the city (and beyond) to scout out this year’s winning restaurants. We searched for dining perfection high and low, scarfing down lobster rolls, devouring doughnuts, and swigging swanky cocktails—and in one case, making a 290-mile round-trip trek to Nantucket to research the ultimate island beach bar. Yes, we know, it’s a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it. But so can you.

If you’re looking to explore this year’s Best winners for yourself, you don’t have to journey far: On Tuesday, July 21, more than 30 Best-award-winning restaurants will bring their wares to City Hall Plaza for our Best Fest party, where ticketholders can sample their top-notch eats.
