National Ice Cream Day has come and passed, and National Ice Cream Month is sadly about to expire as well. But curiously enough, National Ice Cream Sandwich Day doesn’t take place until August 3. To celebrate the occasion, Hood is giving out 10,000 free ice cream sandwiches around town.

The Lynnfield-based dairy company will be offering a variety of flavors throughout the day at a few heavily populated areas around downtown Boston—City Hall Plaza, Samuel Adams Park, North Station, and South Station. All you have to do is show up. (Note: 90-degree weather is currently on the forecast for Monday, so you might really want to take that extra-long lunch break or after-work stroll.)

Here’s the schedule:

– City Hall Plaza: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

– Samuel Adams Park (at Faneuil Hall): 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

– North Station: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

– South Station: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
