Best of the Day: “Poolside con Amigos” – August 24, 2015

Your plan to soak up the last few weeks of summer just got a whole lot better—this Monday, you could be lounging poolside with a tropical fruit juice in one hand and a steaming hot taco in the other. Staycation, anyone?

Jugos, one of our favorite juice bars, has treated pool guests all summer long with their smoothies, grilled corn, ceviche, and Latin ices as part of their pop-up at the Clubs at Charles River Park. And today, Jugos owner Ron Marcos is adding tacos in the mix by partnering with chefs Amanda Howell and Rob Preciado of Naco Taco for this “Poolside con Amigos” event.

For $25, guests will enjoy live music by local band Clave & Blues, refreshing summer treats like Mexican shaved ice, and two juices that Jugos will pair with Naco Taco’s classic al pastor tacos. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.

As a bonus, The Clubs at Charles River Park offers discounted pool passes for purchase at a daily rate of $20 when guests present their Jugos punch card.
