Five Horses Tavern South Launches Monday Night Pancakes

The South End outpost of Five Horses Tavern is taking breakfast for dinner to another level next week when it launches Not Yo Mama’s Pancakes. The $12, Monday night special supplements the Columbus Ave. spot’s regular dinner menu from 5:30-10:30 p.m. through the winter. Chef Erica Keefe is whipping up three different batters, including a sourdough, to take add-ons such as caramel, blueberries, and bourbon apple. Or, get sugar high with Ma’s Throwback, a stack laden with Funfetti—a.k.a. rainbow sprinkles—and topped with Froot Loops. Hot cocktail specials, including an infusion of house-made maple butter and Vermont’s Dunc’s Maple Rum, and Christina’s Ice Cream beer floats join the usual 36 draft lines and other bar offerings.

Not Yo Mama’s Pancakes launches December 7.
