Tasty Burger Rolls Out Breakfast in Back Bay
Tasty Burger is positioning itself to be Boston’s local burger joint morning, noon, and (late) night. The newest outpost of the chainlet, located at the Back Bay MBTA station, has launched its first ever breakfast menu.
True to Tasty’s roots, there’s a breakfast burger with a fried egg and bacon. The one-third-pound patty is also a meat option on a classic breakfast sandwich, and it can be added onto any dish, including a platter with scrambled eggs and a rainbow of Idaho, purple, and sweet potato home fries.
Beyond beef, there’s house-made sausage gravy smothering fried chicken and waffles; and a griddled, Nutella-laden, French toast muffin. Lighter choices include an egg white sandwich with cheese and a turkey burger or roasted tomato slice; and steel cut oatmeal with raisins and maple syrup. Speedwell Coffee will continue to offer its custom, organic blend. Check out the full menu below.
Available daily from 7-11 a.m., the breakfast menu is aimed at the commuters passing through the transit hub. Back Bay is currently the only place to try it, but it will eventually be offered in Dudley Square. That restaurant, opening in early February in the renovated Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building, will initially serve lunch and dinner only from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.
