Ice Cream Slosh at Craigie On Main

Craigie on Main is embracing the warm weather with a boozy, beach-themed ice cream social at its bar, full of treats like rum-infused milkshakes, floats, and Mai Tai popsicles. In addition to sloshiness and indoor games, chef Tony Maws and his team will serve up Craigie sliders, a riff off of the restaurant’s must-try gourmet burger.

Choose from a draft menu with dozens of exclusive barrel-aged beers and sours, including a few the brewery hasn’t even offered at its own taproom. Chez Henri Pop-Up at Parsnip Restaurant & Lounge

Paul O’Connell, chef of the late Chez Henri, returns to the Cambridge restaurant scene to partner with Harvard Square spots Parsnip and Night Market for one night only. The menu will bring back Chez Henri staples, like guava ribs, empanadas, and the restaurant’s well-loved Cubano sandwich. A portion of proceeds will go toward the culinary program NECAT.

$48, Thursday, July 28, Seatings at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Parsnip, 91 Winthrop St., Cambridge, 617-714-3206, Eventbrite

Final Charity Dinner at Lineage

Lineage chef and owner Jeremy Sewall will serve up the Brookline restaurant’s last meal in early August, but not before hosting a charity event dedicated to his mentor, chef Howard “Corky” Clark. Clark is a retired Culinary Institute of America professor of seafood, which shouldn’t be a surprise given Sewall’s affinity for les fruits de mer. After Lineage, the chef will focus on his other spots, Island Creek Oyster Bar, Row 34, and a planned Harvard Square restaurant. The dinner at Lineage begins with a raw bar, then five courses focused on seafood. All proceeds from the night will go toward creating a scholarship fund for students at the CIA.

$125, Tuesday, August 2, 6-9 p.m., Lineage, 242 Harvard St., Brookline, 617-232-0065, lineagerestaurant.com
