Avery Bar and Artisan Bistro at the Ritz-Carlton
The cocktails are best enjoyed hearthside here, presenting a fitting transition into the winter. There are dinner options at Artisan Bistro, but to make the night even sweeter, swing by the build-your-own hot cocoa buffet at Avery Bar from 1-3 p.m.

Bergamot
The Somerville restaurant is offering a three-course prix-fixe featuring scallops, prime rib, halibut, crème brûlée , and much more. The general holiday merriment comes on the side.

Over in Inman Square, Bergamot’s sibling is focused on whole animal dinners, like roasted chicken, lamb leg, and suckling pig. Complement that feast with small plates like grilled broccoli and beef heart tacos, or simply opt for a churro and a night cap.

The Seaport spot is slinging Greek eats and boozy cocktails for brunch and dinner on Christmas Eve, which is all we needed to hear.

Deadhorse Hill
Will you find yourself in Worcester this season? From Tuesday, December 20 through Christmas Eve, chef Jared Forman will offer his take on the Feast of Seven Fishes. His plates include oysters oreganata, calamari fritti, scungilli fra diavolo with sea urchin, plus dessert, an aperitivo, and more.

Fairsted Kitchen
Join the Brookline restaurant for a special dinner seating. While a few specials will be available, there’s no shame in enjoying the standard plates of stuffed lobster and quinoa latkes—Hanukkah starts on the 24th, too.

La Brasa
Fight off the cold with the restaurant’s full menu of South American-inspired plates, like grilled octopus quesadillas and swiss chard empanadas. The bar will also be slinging draft cocktails and amaro flights.

La Morra
A four-course meal of soul-warming Italian cuisine is only matched by a flight of wine. Luckily, the folks at La Morra are offering both.

Mamaleh’s
It’s a Jewish Christmas miracle at the Kendall Square delicatessen. The restaurant crew will be bumping Michael Jackson tunes and serving Chinese food-inspired specials all day long, alongside the spot’s normal menu, as part of the so-called “Moon Wok” event. Given the circumstances, reservations are recommended.

Osteria Posto
The Waltham restaurant is open during special dinner hours this holiday to sate your cravings for salumi, pasta, and chilled craft beers.

During two Christmas Eve seatings, get your fix of mezcal, tacos, and huevos rancheros. We won’t tell if you swing by both sessions.

Saltie Girl
The heavy-hitting new spot‘s first annual Feast of the Seven Fishes features an eight-course dinner with dishes like oysters, baked clams, and tinned chocolate soufflé. It’s also the first time the restaurant has accommodated reservations. Which is big news, considering how limited seating is. Don’t miss your chance to marvel at chef Kyle McClelland’s exclusive holiday menu.

Southern Kin
The Assembly Row storefront is cooking up fried chicken, deviled eggs, and biscuits all day Christmas Eve. Grab a bourbon cocktail and post up.

This five-course feast from Fenway chefs Meghann Ward and Kevin Walsh features Italian-leaning plates like olive oil-poached tuna, braised octopus, and cauliflower pizza. Add a wine pairing and kick back at one of the hottest new spots of 2016.

Ken Oringer and Jamie Bissonnette’s tapas restaurant will be open with a full menu, so you can go through as may Spanish small plates—and ears of grilled street corn—as necessary. A number of themed specials are also slated to make their debut.

For the restaurant’s annual Southern Christmas Eve dinner, Andy Husbands and his crew are serving a slew of plates, priced a la carte. That includes pimento cheese fritters, cider-brined turkey, cornbread, pies, and much more.
