If you’ve dined at Terra this summer with early-evening light streaming through the skylights, maybe you thought, “This would be a great lunch spot.” You’re not alone.

That time has almost come: Eataly Boston’s third-floor restaurant debuts weekend lunch on Saturday.

The lunch menu features many favorites from Terra chef de cuisine Dan Bazzinotti and executive chef Jason Neve, including the full range of bruschette and spidini (things on skewers), plus house-made pastas. New, lunch-only items include a couple egg dishes, a roasted porchetta panino, Tuscan herb-marinated grilled Angus beef short rib, and salads, like summer cucumber with herbs and Lambrusco vinaigrette. The team hasn’t ruled out weekday lunch service in the future, but so far, it’s only planned for Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, beginning September 9. It will run from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
