King’s Row Coffee Is Now Open in Fenway
The pop-up kiosk has nitro cold brew and more in the 401 Park Drive lobby.
Near Fenway today? There’s a new coffee shop in the ’hood, and to celebrate its grand opening, Kings Row Coffee is sharing free samples (and snuggles, if that’s something that appeals) all day on Monday.
Located in the lobby of the changing, art deco landmark at 401 Park Drive, the King’s Row Coffee kiosk is a short-term pop-up slated to run through 2018. Fenway developer Samuels & Associates is behind the renovation of the building formerly known as the Landmark Center, which is centered on the Time Out Market, an international food hall planning to open a Boston outpost there in 2019.
King’s Row is a Hanover, N.H.-based company founded by the 2000 James Beard Award winning Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic, Craig Shelton; and his partner, Sam Sabky. The custom blends are created with a scientific, and wine-inspired approach, yielding a range of complex, smooth coffee blends. At the Fenway kiosk, King’s Row offers drip coffee in its signature blends, plus nitro-poured cold brew on draft and in cans. The canned product is new to the market, and makes for a quick, grab-and-go option on Park Drive.
“Transforming The Fenway into a foodie destination doesn’t mean that we only focus on restaurants. We also want to offer a space for local innovators in food and drink to showcase their products and explore fresh ideas that add retail diversity to the neighborhood,” VP of marketing and merchandising Sabrina Sandberg said in a press release.
The lobby coffee shop, located near the ground floor entrance, will not only be a welcome addition for the tenants of the 401 Park building, but also for the general public. King’s Row Coffee is open weekdays from 7 a.m.-5 p.m. All this week through Friday, Dec. 8, every purchase comes with a “Next One’s on Us” comeback coupon.
