The growing fast-casual restaurant group By Chloe adds another Boston location in 2018. The indulgent, plant-based comfort food lands near the Arlington MBTA station at 399 Boylston Street this summer, the company announced today.

The New York-born, Instagram-bred chain debuted its first Boston spot in the Seaport a year ago, then expanded into the Fenway neighborhood during Red Sox season. By Chloe (stylized as by CHLOE.) also opened a location in Providence in January.

The menu offers bulky burgers topped with a kicking aioli and guacamole; pesto “meatballs” and cashew “mozzarella;” air-baked French fries with beet ketchup; spicy seitan “chorizo” tacos; creamy macaroni and cashew “cheese” with smoked shiitakes that are the ultimate bacon substitute; dairy-free push-up popsicles; and more fun fare that’s entirely vegan-friendly.

“We’re just trying to create healthy options that are interesting and exciting, and feel indulgent,” founder Samantha Wasser previously told Boston. “We wanted to create something people aren’t intimidated by… to introduce people to cuisine they’re not familiar with [vegan], without scaring them off.”

It is working—By Chloe expanded into Los Angeles and Boston within a year of debuting in NYC, and is the reigning best vegetarian restaurant in Boston. Despite a public breakup with celebrity cofounder and namesake Chloe Coscarelli last year, it’s now growing globally with a location in London, and more on the way to that city this year, among others.

In the Back Bay, the ~3,000-square foot restaurant will seat 50 inside, with outdoor seating on Boylston Street as well. By Chloe’s burgers, salads, sandwiches, pastas, daily-baked sweets, dairy-free ice cream, and seasonal specials will be on the menu, along with Boston-exclusive dishes like the lobster roll, and Fenway nachos.

“We have been blown away by how Boston has welcomed by CHLOE.,” Wasser said in a press release. “We loved the idea of adding a third location, right in the middle of one of the city’s most historically-rich neighborhoods, to our Boston portfolio.”

By Chloe will open sometime this summer. It’s currently open daily in the Seaport and in Fenway (the latter of which with beer and wine), for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.
