With three more locations of her sleek café opening this fall and plans to expand beyond the city next year, Tatte founder Tzurit Or’s fortunes are rising as fast as her buttery brioche dough. Here are the seven things she can’t live without.


Brookline Farmers’ Market

“I go to this market all the time to shop for corn, zucchini, tomatoes, eggs, and cheese. I eat only organic in my house, and it’s really important to me, first of all, to support the farmers. And it’s pretty cool that there’s also a wintertime farmers’ market in Brookline.”

Rolling Pin

“I’ve had the same one since I was 14. I actually took it from my mom without her knowing. Years later, I confessed. It’s still the one I use today and the one I rolled with when I opened Tatte, before we brought in a dough sheeter. If you’re looking to pick up a new one locally, I recommend stopping by KitchenWares by Blackstones, on Newbury Street.”
