Pick up a copy of Boston magazine’s latest Best of Boston issue for the details on more than 300 local winners in dining, shopping, nightlife, and other awesome categories—and pick up a ticket to Boston magazine’s upcoming Best of Boston party to get a taste of all that talent in town.
The annual event, heading back to City Hall Plaza on Thursday, July 18, features an incredible, edible lineup of 30 current and past Best of Boston winners, including this year’s Best Chef, General Excellence: Colin Lynch (of Bar Mezzana and Shore Leave); this year’s Best Tacos (Yellow Door Taqueria), Best Barbecue, Best Doughnuts, Best Raw Bar, and many, many more.
The exclusive event brings them all together in a fun and festive atmosphere—all you have to do is show up hungry. Your ticket includes all-you-can-eat samples, plus plenty to drink, such as a creative cocktail by this year’s Best Bartender, Naomi Levy. Cacio e pepe martini, anyone?!
But revelers cannot party with food and drink alone: DJs J-Wall, Frank White, and Ryan Brown are back this year to pump the jams, with a special appearance by experimental violinist Mei Ohara. Total bonus: A portion of ticket sales benefit the Emerald Necklace Conservancy, caretakers of Boston and Brookline’s most illustrious parks. A slew of sponsors are making possible photo booth experiences, lawn games, VIP lounge areas, and more Instagram ops, and of course yours truly—deputy food editor Jacqueline Cain—food editor Scott Kearnan, and more Boston magazine staffers will be there.
