The Shoes We Wore #BostonShoes

I saw my my family right before crossing the finish line, so I picked up my medal, and then I walked toward the finish line when heard the boom and saw the smoke rising. Then I saw the smoke rising from the second one. It was total chaos. I had to go back in the other direction, because everyone was kind of pushing back away from everything. I couldn’t tell how far away it was from where my family was, and I didn’t have my phone because I was running, so I couldn’t call anyone. I was frantically running around, asking people to use their phone, and, of course, cell service was all jammed up. The uncertainty of not knowing what happened to my family was the worst part of it, but luckily, everyone was OK.
