Dr. Fern E. Selesnick, who has been a family and cosmetic dentist for more than 30 years, is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and a former clinical instructor at Tufts University. Dr. Selesnick and her team at Marblehead Dental provide preventive, family and cosmetic dentistry for adults and children. Whether your needs are simple or complex, this state-of-the-art practice offers the highest quality care and dentistry in a relaxing and comfortable environment.

What services do you provide?

We offer a full scope of cosmetic dentistry and reconstructive dentistry with expertise in porcelain veneers, crowns, dental implant crowns and bridges. General dentistry services include but are not limited to dental cleanings, teeth whitening, dental hygiene instructions and fluoride treatments. In addition, I specialize in Botox and Dermal fillers for facial and smile enhancements. I enjoy providing personalized service to a broad range patients, from national and regional celebrities to elected officials, business leaders, and professional athletes.

What kind of health and safety protocols have you put in place?

Infection control has always been a top priority at Marblehead Dental as we continuously strive to exceed the recommended protocol. The infection control processes are made so that you receive care that is both safe and comfortable.

The office follows the infection control recommendations from the American Dental Association (ADA), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention  (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow these activities of these agencies so that they are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

More specific information on Covid-19 in regard to pre-appointment screening questions, ULV cold fogging disinfectant, guidelines and more can be found on the website. We offer spaced out appointments to allow patients to social distance,  as well as non-touch temperature checks and hand sanitizer upon arrival, and we require patients to call before entering the office.

Tell us a little about yourself.

I enjoy providing care to my patients and educating them about the relationship between your dental health and general overall health.

I have two grown children and reside in Marblehead with my husband and dogs.  In my free time I enjoy skiing, tennis, boating, music and am an avid Patriots fan.
