On October 7 and 8, the Boston Design Center, part of the Innovation and Design Center, offers a feast for the senses and a host of inspirational decorating ideas. There is a fabulous line-up of keynote events, panel discussions, product launches, demonstrations, parties and more.
Deserving particular attention is keynote speaker Marisa Marcantonio of Stylebeat Blog.A trusted design authority and seasoned consultant for designers and companies in the home furnishing space, her fabulous energy and expertise will make this a talk you won’t want to miss! She is excited to explore the newly refreshed showrooms and share upcoming design trends for 2016.
Expect a sneak peek into tried and true classic design elements with a twist. Colors of today, as well as assortments of collected meaningful objects will be but a taste of her overall vision for inspirational and artistically unique trends.
One added feature to this amazing event is the addition of several course offerings for designers to get their continuing education credits while learning new and creative ideas. Sponsored by the New England chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), interior designers will expand their knowledge on topics ranging from paint technology to the history of modern textiles.
As the epicenter of design for New England, the Boston Design Center is the premier resource for design professionals, with showrooms featuring 1,200 luxury product lines of fabric, furniture, lighting, antiques, fine art, wall and floor coverings, kitchen and bath components, and contract services.
