About the BSA Design Awards
Each year, the BSA engages a diverse jury—comprised primarily of seasoned architects, designers, journalists, and civic thought leaders—to define what architectural beauty means to them. Juries weigh factors such as aesthetics, questions of public or private ownership, technology, social equity, level of sustainability, and budget. The Harleston Parker Medal jurors judge the same four finalists as seen above and name one the most beautiful new structure in Boston and the winner of the coveted Harleston Parker Medal.
Get involved in next year’s competition by nominating your favorite building for the 2017 Harleston Parker Medal. While the appointed judges will be tasked with establishing the official winner, the public is encouraged to nominate gorgeous structures that they find worthy of consideration by simply emailing their recommendation to email@example.com by March 10, 2017. Eligible nominees for 2017 must have been completely built between December 31, 2006 and December 31, 2016.
