Why Made to Measure is the Only Option for a New Suit
Made to measure suits were once reserved for the wealthy. Thanks to Indochino, one of the world’s largest dedicated made to measure menswear brands, men in Boston can finally get a perfectly tailored suit and at an affordable price.
The newly opened Boston Showroom, located at 85 Newbury Street, is bright and airy – feeling like a shop from Saville Row with large bolts of luxurious suiting fabrics and glorious palettes of lining laid out along with samples of finished suits, shirts and accessories.
“The modern man now prefers the personalized nature of a made to measure suit,” said Chris Chan of the Boston showroom. “Our Showroom’s are the only place where our customers can be measured by an expert, feel our luxurious fabrics and browse our vast selection of customization options.”
The centerpiece of the Indochino Showroom are Style Guides – part personal tailor, part personal shopper – they are responsible for meeting all of the customer’s suiting needs. They take measurements (paying close attention to things like posture and work habits), showcase the full product line of suits, shirts and accessories and help the client personalize the suit to their preferences with finishing touches including lapels, linings, buttons and custom monogramming.
The best way to guarantee a visit with the Style Guide is to make an appointment. Expect to spend 60 minutes to be sure you get the best garment tailored to your body and lifestyle.
In four weeks, a professionally-fitted handcrafted suit is delivered to your home or the Newbury store. After that, customer have the option to return to the showroom for a follow-up consultation to make sure everything fits just right.
More and more, men are taking more interest in how they dress; the days of sloppy casual are waning as everyone recognizes the benefits of looking good. And Indochino is the best place to get the complete made to measure experience once only available to a select audience.
