Subu Magge, MD, FAANS serves as the Vice Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery and Director of Complex Spinal Surgery at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center as well as Assistant Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his medical training at Yale University, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He joined Lahey Clinic after completing his neurosurgical training and subspecialty training in Complex Spinal Surgery at Brigham and Women’s and Children’s Hospitals in Boston. He has been practicing at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center for over 15 years and has been named multiple times in Boston Magazine’s Top Docs issues. He is active in major neurosurgical professional societies including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, AANS/CNS Joint Spine Section, North American Spine Society, and Lahey Clinic Trauma Committee. Dr. Magge’s clinical and research interests center on improving patient outcomes in spinal surgery and he has authored numerous book chapters and papers published in peer-reviewed publications.
