Four New Year’s Eve Hotel Packages to Ring in 2018

The Seaport’s newest micro-hotel, Yotel, is kicking off 2018 with a James Bond-themed soirée on December 31. Guests can stroll down a purple carpet and up to the hotel’s rooftop terrace, where there will be casino tables, passed hors d’oeuvres, party favors, a 2018 countdown, and a champagne toast at midnight.

Tickets are $150 and hotel rooms start at $284 per night.

The Nantucket Hotel
Nantucket, Massachusetts

The Nantucket Hotel’s sixth annual New Year’s Snow Ball returns this year, promising to transform the hotel’s ballroom into a dazzling winter wonderland. Aside from a lineup of wintery festivities, the ball will feature live entertainment from the Perry Rossi Orchestra, an elaborate dessert buffet (with create-your-own s’mores around the property’s fire pits), specialty cocktails, and a champagne toast at midnight.

Tickets are $120 per adult and hotel rooms start at $295 per night. A two-night minimum stay is required.

Marriott Cambridge
Cambridge, Massachusetts

Cambridge’s Catalyst restaurant is throwing a New Year’s Eve bash complete with a buffet dreamed up by chef de duisine Justin Urso, a bounty of late-night sweets, and a full bar. Plus, DJ Kupah James will be in attendance to keep the dance floor packed. The restaurant has arranged special rates with the Marriott Cambridge, which is about a five-minute walk from the hotel.

XV Beacon
Boston, Massachusetts

Sure, all New Year’s Eve revelers are invited to watch Boston’s First Night fireworks on December 31, but it’s not every year you have the chance to view them from a lofty vantage point. The ultra-luxe XV Beacon invites guests to kick back on the hotel’s private deck during the display. A New Year’s Eve stay also includes a bottle of champagne and a late check out at 2 p.m.

Rooms start at $610 per night with additional nights at 20 percent off the hotel’s best available rate.
