World Sleep Day Package
Where: Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel, 138 St. James Ave., Boston
When: March 15 through 16
How much: Rooms starting at $449 per night
Surviving last week’s Nor’easter is more than enough of a reason to treat yourself. Perhaps a staycation is in order. If last week’s stress took its toll, the Fairmont’s one-night-only World Sleep Day package might bring some much-needed relief.
“World Sleep Day is an important opportunity to promote the benefits of sleep and help our guests experience the best rest possible during their stay,” said Hayley Adamson, director of rooms at the Fairmont Copley Plaza, in a statement.
Guests who spend the night on March 15 won’t need to worry about leaving early the next day. Check out time the next morning will be extended by an hour to 1 p.m. (If that’s not an excuse to sleep in and order room service, then what is?) In addition, all guests will receive a special gift from Sage Tonic, a Boston-based wellness company. Every room will come with two Sage Tonic essential oil towelettes, designed to help anyone fall into a restful, lavender-scented night of sleep. Just don’t forget to pack your sleep mask.
