May Getaway Package
Where: Whitehall, 52 High St., Camden, Maine
When: Available May 11-31, 2018
How much: $400 for two nights, or $350 for stays Sundays through Thursdays

A dreamy boutique hotel on the coast of Maine is reopening for the season this month, and to celebrate, Camden’s Whitehall is offering an exclusive two-night package deal. Book a trip between May 11 and 31 to pay a flat rate of $400 for a two-night stay, or $350 for stays Sundays through Thursdays. The price stag stands for the best available room at the time of booking, so you’re better off reserving one earlier rather than later. Oh, and the deal includes a few goodies, too.

Upon arrival, guests will have a bouquet of fresh flowers waiting for them in their room, along with a picnic basket containing cheese, chocolate, and a bottle of rosé. Take it outside and make an adventure out of it—or, you know, just eat the whole thing in bed in your pajamas. For those in need of a little guidance, each room comes with an itinerary to suggest things to do in the area. Look it over as you munch on the basket of breakfast foods delivered to your door every morning. Continental breakfast who?

This 100-year-old inn was founded in 1901 after a young widow purchased the property, which, according to the hotel’s website, formerly belonged to an old sea captain. Later, in 2015, the spot was renovated as a luxury destination for those seeking a coastal getaway. Whitehall’s other perks include an on-site bar, a wraparound porch with rocking chairs, a fire pit and lounge space, and a dining courtyard.
