Yes, a bride’s world is chock full of must-haves and gotta-gets in terms of wedding flowers, invitations, and themes. But what if you want something quirky, something different, something more you?

Well, you head over to the Craft My Wedding marketplace on April 19. Held from noon to 4 p.m. at Somerville’s Center for Arts at the Armory, this event puts you right up in front of totally different handmade, local, and one-of-a-kind vendors. It’s a craft fair with a wedding twist, complete with day-of discounts, games, and free stuff—there will be goodie bags for the first 75 brides.

Unlike other wedding fairs that are full of reps from larger businesses, at Craft My Wedding, you get to think outside of the box. Speak one-on-one with artists, designers, and small business owners to talk about custom options to make your wedding stand out in a sea of nuptials. Work with up-and-coming photographers, bakers, caterers, entertainers, and more to find something special to make your wedding totally unique.

Aside from a ton of enthusiastic vendors, there’s also a cash bar and food samples. You can relax during a hair consultation, smile pretty with your new ‘do for a photo booth snap, and take a seat for a live fashion show. Then get revved up by playing a few games with your girlfriends as you watch live entertainment from the Goodtime String bluegrass band, Boston Circus Guild, and local DJ beats, to name a few. You might even learn a thing or two at a few workshops and demonstrations.

Bring your wedding checklist—it’s time to get crafty.

Tickets to Craft My Wedding are $8 online or $10 at the door. Center for Arts at the Armory is located at 191 Highland Ave. in Somerville.
