When your dream wedding gives promise to a young person to follow their own dreams, what more could you ask for?

As you’re celebrating your love, you can add on a few more warm and fuzzies knowing that your rental of the spacious gallery at Artists for Humanity helps support hundreds of underserved Boston teen artists as they seek to find their dream jobs in the arts. The space not only allows them to learn invaluable business skills, but they’re paid to sound off in their unique voices by creating websites, sculptures, jewelry, invitations, murals, and photographs for clients all over.

The AFH EpiCenter offers the use of the 5,000 square foot gallery space, the 1,200 square foot wrap-around mezzanine, and an additional 1,200 square foot landscaped sunken courtyard accessible from the gallery by a floor-to-ceiling glass “garage door” when weather permits. The 3,500 square foot painting studio on the third floor is also available for an additional charge.

Two hundred and fifty people is the max capacity for the space, but even at that size, there’s still plenty of room for dinner and dancing. And no more traditional four-hour celebration time slots for you. You have use of the entire space (that’s the gallery, courtyard, and wrap-around mezzanine) from 10 a.m. to midnight. Yes, that’s 14 hours.

And the good cause your celebration is supporting also serves as its unique backdrop. The open floor plan is enhanced with art from the talented AFH artists. Take it one step further, and these creative teens can even help you by personalizing your event with creative design services, including invitations, save the dates, paintings, screen-printed apparel, printed photographs, custom banners to hang outside the venue announcing your event, and live painting during the celebration.

The site itself is a work of art, with architectural details include vintage Crown Victoria car windshields lining the mezzanine, a glorious 18-foot ceiling, and south-facing windows for a wash of natural light. Even the bathrooms have surprise design elements (no spoiler alerts here—you’ll have to find out for yourself).

Your package includes two dedicated event staffers. All events at the EpiCenter are catered by Gourmet Caterers. And unlike most art institutions, they allow all types of entertainment. Bands, DJs, aerialists, opera singers, choirs, string quartets, acrobats, you name it.

If your favorite color to work in is green, they have that covered too. The American Institute of Architects named the Artists For Humanity’s EpiCenter as one of the Top Ten Green Buildings in the U.S. Between its energy efficiency and on-site renewable solar power generation, they were also the first facility in Boston to become US Green Building Council LEED Platinum Certified, the highest designation for energy sustainable buildings.

There you have it. A site that gives you all the feels on your wedding day.
