FANCIFUL FETE

The White Room

Head Count Up to 200 seated
Price $3,200, plus food and drink

Tap into your creative side at the White Room, an industrial—and completely customizable—event space inside the recently renovated Crompton Collective. Nestled in Worcester’s lively Canal District, this historical venue features an original stone wall and exposed beams, to say nothing of its large windows, party-ready collection of vintage furniture, and refurbished wooden bar. Take your first steps as newlyweds among the draped ivy and twinkle lights of the ceremony garden, then head to the red-brick patio for cocktails alongside a flowing fountain. For photos, feel free to roam the grounds: Couples often pose for quirky bridal shots in front of the sky-high outdoor Blackstone Canal mural, as well as in the adjacent antique shop and at the year-round farmers’ market. Say (artisanal) cheese.

STATELY SOIREE

Mechanics Hall

Head Count Up to 450 seated
Price Upon requesT

Mechanics Hall’s superb acoustics have amplified the words of Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Ella Fitzgerald—why not your vows? Built in 1857 and restored in 1977, downtown Worcester’s Renaissance Revival–style concert hall exudes timeless elegance with Corinthian pillars, a balcony with balustrade, and coffered ceilings. Your grand event begins with a red carpet entrance for guests and continues on the thrust stage inside the Great Hall, where you can tie the knot in the company of family and friends—and a 3,504-pipe Hook organ. The space doubles as a reception site with an open dance floor and a pair of grand pianos. No matter how you choose to celebrate, hearing your nearest and dearest “ooh” and “ahh” over the building’s mahogany staircase, walnut floors, and decorative frescoes will be music to your ears.

Price Starting at $7,000, plus food and drink

Raise your glass to your beloved—and to Mother Nature—with a bucolic bash at Tower Hill, set among 171 acres of verdant land in nearby Boylston. Boasting mountain and reservoir views, New England’s only comprehensive botanical garden offers numerous ceremony settings: the fairy-tale stone staircase in the Secret Garden; the colorful foliage and perennials of the Lawn Garden; and the cathedral-like Limonaia, replete with cheerful lemon trees. After you walk down the aisle, reunite with loved ones for a reception in the glass-roofed Orangerie, filled with gigantic potted plants. Bonus: Tower Hill just entered into an exclusive partnership with Peppers Artful Events, an award-winning caterer known for farm-to-table cuisine, so you’re guaranteed a meal as green as the scenery.
