You probably already know that treating yourself to a bit of bubbly is one surefire way to celebrate (and de-stress) during the wedding-planning period. Getting advice from the city’s leading industry pros while enjoying tasty mimosas, though? Even better. Expect just that at Boston Weddings’ first annual Bubbly Brunch, hosted at the Four Seasons on May 5.

Equal parts high-energy party and planning showcase, the brunch will feature sought-after local talent such as Janie Haas Events, Fête Collection, Studio Nouveau, and others who will be on hand to talk design ideas, invitation suites, photography, and more. Each vendor will man their own table at the event, offering samples, giveaways, and mini consultations. This isn’t your typical expo, though; the event emphasizes interactivity. A model will be showing off bridal looks by Candace Wu Couture, for example, and planner Deborah DeFrancesco will be hosting a live recording of her Bitchless Bride podcast with couples at the event as her guests. Plus, you can grab your ‘maids or your spouse-to-be and mark the occasion by stepping inside a one-of-a-kind photo booth: a walk-in, blown-up version of a Boston Weddings magazine cover created by Party by Design and Pose.

Of course, the cherry on top of the day is a lavish brunch catered by the Four Seasons. On the menu: passed hors d’oeuvres such as French toast-flavored breakfast churros and miniature homemade pop tarts, as well as an array of buffet stations serving everything from bite-sized avocado toasts to seafood to pastries. Bonus: you’ll also be able to sip on specialty cocktails (like the “Mary Mary Quite Contrary,” a twist on a bloody Mary) to draw inspiration for the signature drinks at your own event. Or, you know, just use “it’s for research” as an excuse to indulge.

$65 ($60 group rate), Sunday, May 5, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Four Seasons Hotel Boston, 200 Boylston St., Boston, bostonmagazine.com/bubblybrunch.
