Boston just gained another new wedding-dress destination thanks to Barcelona-based brand Pronovias, whose new Copley Place boutique couldn’t be dreamier. Inside the 3,068-square-foot shop—the company’s fifth stateside salon—customers will find elegant gowns and accessories in an inviting and (of course) Instagrammable space. “The Pronovias brand is made for the modern, fashion-forward bride,” says Pronovias CEO Amandine Ohayon. “Boston has a lot of energy but is also very sophisticated, so we felt that this was a good match.”

Set foot beyond the boutique’s glass façade and you’ll find an ultra-glamorous, feminine space complete with oak floors, taupe area rugs, plush, modern seating, white marble details, and brass fixtures. It’s a space that’s equal parts classic and current, just like the brand itself. “We really wanted to create a luxurious, elegant, and intimate space where the bride, friends, and family can really feel at home and create their dream experience,” Ohayon says.

At the front of the store, ladies will find racks displaying gowns for brides of all ages, styles, sizes, and body shapes, including maternity dresses—a reflection of the brand’s belief that there’s no one type of perfect bride. The shop also carries the “Party Edit,” Pronovias’s collection of occasionwear, as well as headpieces, veils, and accessories.

By appointment, brides can meet with one of the store’s stylists in a two-hour session where you’ll start by chatting about your vision while enjoying a complimentary glass of bubbly. Then you’ll pop into one of the boutique’s six fitting rooms, which can accommodate a single guest or the entire bridal party, to try on your picks. Once you find “the one” though, the process doesn’t need to stop there: Many Pronovias brides also take advantage of the company’s customization services, which allow customers to adjust anything from a gown’s sleeve style to the train length, or add personal, decorative touches in the form of embroidery. “We really pride ourselves on making women feel beautiful at the most important moment of their lives,” Ohayon says. “We really want finding the dress to be a pleasurable experience, and we’re proud to help [customers] experience their dreams.”
