I have been Dr Akerkar's patient for 10 years and I cannot express how amazing she has been I came all the way up from Florida just to have my procedure yesterday because I really trust her. -Aug 3; 2018 Vitals.com
Just had my third colonoscopy with Dr Akerkar, she is professional, reassuring, and genuinely passionate about the benefits of this procedure being a life saver. She is 100 % right. I watched my sister die of colon cancer, I can tell you, the day of preparation is not pleasant but the torture of undiagnosed cancer is a billion times worse and most likely deadly. Please take it very seriously, take care of yourself. Northeast Endoscopy will take good care of you.
