We all love spending holidays enjoying great company, conversation, and food—but sometimes, hosting celebrations at home can be less than ideal. After all, why stress over cooking and cleaning yourself when you can make memories with loved ones at The Inn at Hastings Park?

Just 15 miles from Boston in the heart of historic Lexington, we gathered all the ways this Relais & Chateaux inn is revolutionizing hospitality for the holidays – festive décor, luxurious accommodations, and regional, seasonal cuisine from its Best of Boston award-winning restaurant, Artistry on the Green.

It starts with Halloween, when guests are treated to comfort food and ghoulish games.

The couple who owns The Inn loves Halloween (it’s also their wedding anniversary), and they prepare for Halloween festivities with gusto. Neighborhood children and Inn guests are welcome to trick-or-treat throughout the property which is comprised of three buildings: the Main House (with a rich history that ties back to one of Lexington’s founding families), the Isaac Mulliken House (the residence of a popular nineteenth century politician), and the Barn (Mulliken’s workshop which is rumored to have served as a coffin factory at some point along the way–perfect for Halloween spookiness!)

And, whether ensuring guests participate in the Halloween hoopla or opt to enjoy the season by touring Lexington and Concord’s many historic sites shaded by autumn’s vibrant color palette, they’ll retire to one of 22 upscale guest rooms and suites that are perfectly-appointed all year round.

The bounty from the neighboring farms is on the Thanksgiving menu at The Inn’s award-winning restaurant, Artistry on the Green

Since opening in 2014, families have made a tradition of dining at The Inn’s casually elegant restaurant, Artistry on the Green (winner of Best of Boston 2016 award for Best Restaurant, General Excellence, West of Boston) and many make it a point to reserve a table for Thanksgiving.

Culling produce and proteins from the area’s plentiful farms, the culinary team is passionate about creating innovative, seasonal dishes that are as flavorful as they are memorable.

A winter wonderland sets the scene for Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year’s celebrations.

The Monday after Thanksgiving marks the true beginning of winter, when The Inn transforms into an ultra-cozy, idyllic winter wonderland perfect for friends, family, and romantic getaways.

Serving up special teas and featuring a beautifully-decorated tree and halls decked with wreaths, menorahs, illuminated garlands, and toy donation bins for charities benefiting children in need—The Inn’s staff doesn’t just get in the holiday spirit, they encourage guests to participate and spread the holiday cheer, too!
