Between the traveling and family get-togethers, there doesn’t seem to be much time for anything else during the holidays. Unfortunately, workouts tend to get put on the back-burner. You might think to yourself, who has time to go to the gym? Even a yoga class can seem out of reach. But in-between the trips to the mall and the airport, you can still get in a workout. There are ways to stay on track with your fitness routine without visiting a gym, and still get all of your shopping and errands done, and even have time to attend a holiday party (or two!).

When you’re pressed for time this holiday season, try this quick fat-burning body weight circuit routine that you can do in 15 minutes at home, on the road, in a hotel, in a guest room, or even out at a park. It’s the perfect travel workout since there’s no equipment necessary. If you take 15 minutes to burn off the egg nog, you’ll feel great by New Years.

Directions: Perform each exercise for 20 seconds doing as many reps as you can, while maintaining the best form possible. Then, rest for 10 seconds before moving on to the next exercise. After you complete all five exercises, that is considered one round.  You will rest for 40 seconds and then start the exercises all over again for round two. Try to push yourself harder with each round. If you follow the directions, you will be done with five rounds in 15 minutes.

Exercises: Prisoner Squat, Alternating Reverse Lunges, Hip Bridges, Lying Lat Pull-down, Push-ups
