CDC: Teen Birth Rates Lower in New England Than Anywhere Else in Nation. The Centers for Disease Control have just released their report of the country’s teenage birth statistics and guess what: between 1991 to 2010, teen birth rates have gone down by 44 percent. To rephrase, 3.4 million children were not brought into the world by girls who were way too young to have them, sparing not only the teenagers in question, but saving the country billions of dollars. Oh, and by the way, as of 2010, liberal, yankee, over-educated, where-Romneycare-originated New England has the lowest rate of teen births than the rest of the entire country.
