Roundup: Kids Yoga Classes

Where you can find fun, stimulating yoga classes for your little one.

Boston-area moms (including Gisele herself) are rolling out their yoga mats and bringing the kids. And studios are getting in on the action by offering kids yoga classes. Check out our list of where your child can start their journey with yoga under your instruction or while you relax in your own class.

Coolidge Corner Yoga

Owned and operated by a mom, Coolidge Corner Yoga offers simultaneous kids and adult classes throughout the week. You can choose from five different classes for ages 4 to 14. Purchases passes or just drop in, and let your child explore yoga as you relax with an adult class next door.

Blissful Monkey Yoga Studio

New mothers with small babies need the healing powers of yoga more than ever, and Blissful Monkey provides the perfect class. “Mom and Baby yoga” on Wednesday mornings is a gentle, relaxing class designed to help new moms regain abdominal muscle tone and develop a deeper connection with their babies. Yoga daddies are also welcome, and because of babies’ unpredictability, you can arrive up to fifteen minutes late and still take part in the class. Students are asked to bring a blanket for the baby to lie on during class.
