Best of Boston 2008

These days, you can’t swing a drunken reveler in Boston without hitting a big, shiny trophy. As in, the kind given out to the winners of professional sporting championships. As in, the kind we might now claim an unprecedented monopoly on, if a certain supermodel-entranced quarterback and his previously unbeatable teammates hadn’t majorly choked out there in Arizona. But we digress.

Long before this was Title Town, there was another symbol of greatness to be claimed by the city’s finest. You’re reading its 35th installment. At 335 winners—and 150 new categories—we like to think it’s the most monumental Best of Boston yet.
