David Ortiz’s final MLB season has barely begun, but it looks like the Red Sox slugger already has a new gig lined up.

According to Variety, Ortiz is getting his very own channel called “The Big Papi Network” on Go90, Verizon’s mobile video platform. Big Papi isn’t wasting any time launching the network either as it made its Go90 debut on Thursday.

Ortiz will serve as a creator and executive producer for the network, in addition to being the channel’s star. His agent and manager Alex Radetsky will also serve as an executive producer for the network, which will fall under the banner of Ortiz’s newly created Big Papi Productions.

Variety reports that “The Big Papi Network” will include 18 weeks of brand new, short-form content. The latest episodes will be made available through Verizon’s mobile video platform on a weekly basis.

Expect to see a different side of Big Papi as each episode will chronicle the slugger’s life while injecting a bit of fun and laughs. The videos will feature highlights of some of the Red Sox star’s favorite things, like movies and automobiles, as well as interviews by Ortiz with celebrities ranging from the world of sports to notable humanitarians.

Hopefully fans will get a chance to see a cameo by Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson’s “Big Papi” at some point.
