It has been said that this legendary Beacon Hill butcher shop is frequented by the likes of Julia Child. There is more to explore here than meat—although the selection of fresh steaks, birds like wild turkeys and quails, and oddities like rhino and alligator is awesome. Also on hand: gourmet condiments, fresh-baked bread from the top local purveyors, and and a handful of other items (farmstand produce is a highlight).
