Mitt Romney to Endorse McCain

We spent the first part of the Republican presidential race watching Mitt Romney and John McCain fight like bitter exes. It seemed that Romney hated McCain for his lack of conservative cred, and the Arizona senator couldn’t stand the governor because that’s what all the cool Republicans do.

So, it’s going to be really fun to watch Romney eat a big slice of humble pie and endorse McCain later this afternoon.

According to Boston.com, the men will embrace awkwardly at the Romney’s North End campaign headquarters around 3:30 p.m. We know it’s going to be hard for Romney to smile and hand over those hard-fought delegates. But remember what you said in your swan song, governor—you’re doing it for the troops and the good of your party.
