Taking a leaf from Concord’s recent ouster, state senator Cynthia Creem, D-Newton, proposed an amendment to the state’s Bottle Bill, which encourages residents to recycle bottles from beer, malt beverages, carbonated soft drinks, and mineral water, that would extend the bill to include water bottles — or ban them entirely starting in July 2013.
